The Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) Leadership Forum will be held virtually from February 22-24, 2022 with speakers and attendees joining from across the country. The Leadership Forum is an annual, one-of-a-kind professional opportunity that includes career development sessions as well as tools and knowledge to advance renewable energy.

Programming will cover a wide range of topics from every nearly aspect of renewable energy. Policy topics include “Equitable Access and Community Benefits of Renewable Energy” and “Federal Policy 101.” Technical sessions include “Energy Transmission 101.”  Professional development sessions like “Resilience for Women Leaders” and “Personal Branding” allow for individual leadership development opportunities. WRISE also emphasizes equity and inclusion by amplifying diverse women leaders in sessions like “Executive Women of Color Impacting Clean Energy” and “Investing in Indigenous Communities.” Read the full 2022 WRISE Leadership Forum Program. All sessions will be recorded to be available for attendees to watch again.

The Forum also includes speed networking, career coaching, professional development activities, a virtual job center, and social activities to meet with the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect to leaders in various sectors of renewable energy, like transmission, utilities, and development.

Ticket pricing varies. Students and nonprofit organizations can purchase tickets at a discounted cost of $150. WRISE members can purchase tickets for $225. Non-members of WRISE can purchase tickets for $275.  Tickets can be purchased from the 2022 Leadership Forum website.

The Leadership Forum is produced by WRISE. Originally titled Women of Wind Energy (WoWE) and founded in 2005, the group rebranded to WRISE in May 2017 to be more expansive and inclusive of various renewable industries.

WRISE is a national nonprofit with over 35 chapters and a broad purpose uniting them –  to change our energy future through the collective power of community. WRISE leadership and members work together to build community, promote education, and cultivate leadership through their work.
