Join us in celebrating Jenny Conrardy, whose inspiring journey from organic farmer to licensed electrician and solar educator has been chosen for HeatSpring’s Stay Curious campaign.

This initiative highlights the transformative power of education in the clean energy sector, showcasing individuals whose learning paths have not only shaped their careers but also created positive impacts in their industries and communities. By sharing these stories, HeatSpring gives a nod to the crucial role of lifelong learning and curiosity in driving the transition to a more sustainable and resilient future.

Jenny’s story powerfully illustrates how embracing change can lead to unexpected opportunities in the renewable energy sector. With two decades of experience in organic agriculture, she brought a unique perspective to the solar industry when life circumstances prompted a career shift. Her background in sustainable farming created a natural bridge to renewable energy, as both fields share a commitment to environmental stewardship and long-term sustainability.

As a single mother, Jenny’s determination led her through a rigorous electrical apprenticeship program, multiple NABCEP credentials, and ultimately to achieving her journeyman electrician license while working at Arch Electric in Wisconsin. Her journey exemplifies how combining technical expertise with a passion for sustainability can forge a meaningful second career. Today, as an instructor at the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, Jenny empowers the next generation of solar professionals while inspiring her own son through her commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Let’s hear from Jenny about her transition from sustainable agriculture to becoming a leader in the solar industry!
