Brit Heller Brit Heller

Did you know that OSHA mandates that anyone who operates a forklift complete formal training before they can legally operate these powerful industrial vehicles? Through our partnership with OSHA Education Center, HeatSpring now offers a quick, online Forklift Certification Course to get you trained up and ready for onsite training and evaluation.

Why Forklift Certification Is Important

Forklifts, also known as powered industrial trucks, are essential equipment in construction, warehousing, and manufacturing. But they’re also involved in thousands of workplace accidents each year. That’s why OSHA requires employers to ensure all operators are properly certified through formal instruction, practical training, and performance evaluation.

This comprehensive two-hour online course covers everything you need to know to safely operate Class I through Class VII forklifts, including:

  • Electric motor rider trucks (Class I)

The course fully complies with OSHA standards 1910.178(I) and 1926.602(d), making it valid for both general industry and construction applications.
