Let’s Meet @ RE+ in Las Vegas Brian Hayden RE+ is the biggest solar conference in North America. This year it’s happening in Las Vegas on September 11-14, 2023. It’s impossible to see everything at a huge show like this. So here are some of the events that we will be attending, plus alternative options for the people who can’t make the trip to Vegas: Monday the 11th – Bill Brooks and Sean White are teaching a pre-conference workshop, “PV, Energy Storage and the 2023 NEC”. You can preview some of what they’ll be covering in this newly released free course: “2023 National Electrical Code (NEC) Updates for the Solar Industry” Tuesday the 12th – SEIA & IREC are hosting “Apprenticeship Power Hour”. This is part training, part networking opportunity for companies to learn more about registered apprenticeship programs. “How to Start Your Registered Apprenticeship Program” is a great primer on solar apprenticeships that you can check out now. Wednesday the 13th – Tim Montague will be recording podcast episodes from his booth (2269 Sands Level 2). Stop by and say hello to Tim if you have time – he is a great connector and he teaches solar sales courses like this free course, “Qualifying Commercial Solar Leads & Projects”. Tuesday the 12th & Wednesday the 13th – I (Brian Hayden) will be meeting with companies about HeatSpring for Teams. If you’re at the show, you can book time to meet with me in real life (here). If you’re not at the show, you can still book time to meet with me virtually (here). Also on Tuesday the 12th – Erika Symmonds from SEIA, Riley Neugebauer from Namaste, and ShaLonda Dwight from SOLV are talking about “Creating a Culture of Inclusion in Construction and the Trades”. That’s a group we don’t want to miss. If you can’t attend, you might check out the free, “Competing for Solar Talent in 2023” course. WHAT IS RE+?
