HeatSpring and Energize US Provide 4-Year Employer-Sponsored Electrical Apprenticeship Training

Brian Hayden Brian Hayden

We’re happy to announce a new partnership with Energize US to bring you all of the classroom training you need to run a 4-year electrical apprenticeship program

Energize US is a non-profit workforce organization known for engaging next generation tradespeople and running dynamic in person events like the B.U.L.D. Conference, exam prep training, and workshops at the regional RE+ events. They celebrate skilled trades careers and inspire younger generations to engage and succeed in our industry.

Lots of companies using the HeatSpring platform hire electrical apprentices. If you’re running an in-house apprenticeship program, now you can outsource all of the classroom training to Energize US, and know the quality will be excellent. Year 1 classes start in the Fall. They will take place virtually, two days per week in the evenings, with an optional Saturday session.

To get the process started and learn more about the training, you can start the enrollment process here: https://www.heatspring.com/credentials/electrical-electrical-licensure

Who is this for?

Employer-sponsored electrical apprenticeships. Energize US provides all of the classroom training for new or existing electrical apprenticeships. It would be great learning for an independent professional to take these classes, but being enrolled into a formal apprenticeship program is really what you should do first.

What does the training cover?

Energize US uses DOL-approved curriculum from NCCER. They teach live, online, two days per week, starting in the Fall 2025. The instructors are charismatic and use the Energize Framework, a system they developed to help tradespeople succeed in their coursework. You can learn more about the Energize Framework here. If you want a full curriculum breakdown, send me an email and I will share it with you.

How much does it cost?

To begin the enrollment process we collect a non-refundable $200 deposit for each enrolled apprentice. The deposit gets credited toward the full-year tuition fee of $3900 per apprentice. The balance is due before the program begins on September 28, 2025.

Why is this apprenticeship training program different or better?

First year apprentices will earn their OSHA 10, NABCEP PV Associate credential, and NCCER Level 1 Certifications. They will spend time learning from experienced instructors who care about their professional development. The Energize Framework will help them retain the knowledge so they can be more productive on the job.
