This is a fun 40-minute lecture that provides historical context for where solar hot water – solar thermal – is today. Bob also shares some insights about which types of customers are the best fit for solar hot water, and some resources to learn more. Register for the free lecture here.

Nobody has been more influential and involved in the evolution of residential solar thermal over the past 25 years than Bob Ramlow. He’s the author of the definitive text on design and installation of residential systems, and he’s a great story teller, too.

This video was part of a presentation series done for NABCEP’s Entry Level Solar Heating course that Bob teaches. Not many people have taken this course over the past couple years because solar thermal is so much less popular than PV or other renewable technologies, but the people who study with Bob love him. It’s a guaranteed winner if you see opportunity in solar hot water ahead. Click here to learn more about that course.
