Course Overview This is a live, 40-hour BPI training course designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to earn three BPI credentials BPI Building Analyst Certification – One Week Intensive – LIVE: Building Science Principles (BSP), Building Analyst Technician (BAT), and Building Analyst Professional (BAP). Three Certifications Included Building Science Principles (BSP)This is the initial fundamentals course. This is a certificate of knowledge course. The final exam is an open-book, multiple-choice exam that requires a score of 70% to pass. The Building Science Principles Course is a Prerequisite for the Building Analyst Technician (BAT) certification. Building Analyst Technician Certification (BAT)This is the initial certification course for building analysts. This course trains individuals to utilize the diagnostic tools efficiently and perform an Energy Audit. This course is a prerequisite for the Building Analyst Professional (BAP) certification. To obtain certification, candidates must pass a proctored field exam demonstrating their ability to conduct an energy audit. Building Analyst Professional Certification (BAP)This is the final course in the certification suite. The BAP focuses on solving problems related to energy efficiency and health and safety issues. The Building Analyst Professional is a closed-book, multiple-choice exam that requires a score of 70% to obtain certification. This certification is prestigious. The IRS offers a tax credit to customers who receive an energy audit from a professional certified as a Building Analyst.
