Job Title: Inside Sales Professional

Location: Downtown Oakland, CA

Overview:

PVComplete is fast growing solar software startup based in downtown Oakland. Our flagship product is the PVComplete solar design software platform. Our customers are solar companies around the world who use the PVComplete software platform to design solar projects faster, with higher quality and that are more cost effective. At PVComplete we are passionate about solar energy and seek candidates who share our goals to change the way the world’s energy is produced.

We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Professional to leverage our funnel of qualified leads and sell directly to prospective solar businesses, most often via phone, e-mail and web conference. To succeed in this role the candidate must be a proven closer who personally delivers an unparalleled customer experience, exuding professionalism. Successful sales will result in new subscriptions to our SaaS software product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct effective on-line sales appointments with solar businesses
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communications, proposals, and follow-ups
  • Meet all customer expectations as scheduled
  • Tenaciously follow-up with open leads
  • Nurture all possible referral business
  • Aid with Marketing efforts, including email blasts, website,
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Economics, Communications, Marketing, Business, or similar field, with minimum 2 years related work experience
  • Successful experience selling B2B, software and/or solar products
  • Confidence in overcoming multiple customer objections including stalls
  • Ability to generate referrals from positive customer experiences and contact database
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Must work well independently and possess self-starter mentality
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong computer skills including CRMs, Constant contact / Mail Chimp, WordPress
  • Past work for a software, hardware, or technology company a plus
