New Course: Forklift Operator Training Brit Heller HeatSpring just launched Forklift Operator Training, a two-hour online course that covers the formal instruction portion of OSHA-required forklift certification. Why take this course Forklifts, or powered industrial trucks, are a staple in countless warehouses and industrial facilities. OSHA requires employers to certify every operator through three steps: formal instruction, hands-on training on the specific equipment, and a performance evaluation. Knowledge checks are built into each module, so learners can confirm they’ve absorbed the material before moving on. Certification and access Students who complete the course earn a certificate of completion documenting two hours of forklift operator training. Course access lasts a full year after enrollment, so there’s no pressure to finish in one sitting.
