John Siegenthaler, P.E. wrote the book, “Modern Hydronic Heating” on hydronic system design – literally. Now, he’s teaching a ten-week, advanced design course online. It’s a detail-oriented design course that combines video lessons, reading assignments, and hands-on calculations and homework. Siegenthaler says: “I’ve dedicated my career to teaching hydronic system design. This new format gives me a chance to get into more details than are possible with a single webinar. This course will be focused on state-of-the-art approaches for those who want to be on the cutting edge of hydronics technology.”
“Mastering Hydronic System Design”, offered in partnership with BNP Media, parent company of Plumbing & Mechanical magazine, The ACHR NEWS, PM Engineer, Supply House Times and Radiant & Hydronic e-News. BNP’s CE Campus is an ongoing source of professional continuing education. BNP Plumbing Group Publisher Bob Miodonski says: “For 87 years BNP has been publishing great content. We see online training as an extension of that mission. A class of this depth just wasn’t possible five years ago. I’m excited to be a part of something this personal and detailed.”
About the Course: “Mastering Hydronic System Design”
This is a unique opportunity to take an advanced hydronic design course with John Siegenthaler. The course provides a detailed discussion of the design elements underlying modern hydronic heating systems. It presents both design concepts and design tools for optimizing hydronic heating systems in a variety of contemporary applications. It is not meant as an introduction course. Rather, it is structured to combine a student’s existing knowledge, with new approaches and analytical methods that are specifically focused on the cutting-edge of hydronic heating. The goal is to equip students to design state-of-the-art systems for residential and light commercial buildings that deliver unsurpassed comfort, efficiency and reliability.
