Residential Solar: Dive Deep into Customer Contracts & Agreements with ReVision Energy

Brian Hayden Brian Hayden

I don’t think people appreciate how amazing our “Customer Contracts & Agreements” course is. Every residential solar team should take it. So starting today, for a limited time, we’re offering it free to HeatSpring Members. Membership comes with a ton of benefits and is a super-affordable way ($19!) to build a learning habit.

About “Customer Contracts & Agreements”

Residential solar systems come with contracts that span 20-25 years. Solar company staff need to become experts in each of the agreements and contracts that are utilized in the development and execution of residential solar construction projects, so that they can communicate these details clearly to their customers. Understanding key components and the role that each of these documents serve for the company and the customer set clear expectations around the project, its execution, and the ongoing relationship between the homeowner, the utility, and the solar installation company.

Setting clear expectations and following through on those expectations allows solar companies to provide great customer service, build a happy customer base, and cultivate referral business.

This course is perfect for any one who may be answering questions from homeowners, including (but certainly not limited to) customer service staff, the operations team, and sales reps.

This course was created in partnership with ReVision Energy for inclusion into their 2-year Customer Service Apprenticeship Program. Subject matter experts from Solar United Neighbors, Sun Tribe Trading, BayWa r.e., Sol-Ark, and EnergySage have contributed to the creation of this course.

About HeatSpring Membership

HeatSpring Membership is a bundle of learning opportunities that would otherwise cost a lot more. Here’s what you get:

  1. Extended access to paid courses. Wll of our courses come with 1-year of unlimited access. Sometimes people get busy and don’t finish, but they don’t want to pay for the class again. This is original reason we created HeatSpring membership. Now you can pay the small monthly fee for as long as you need to finish the class and get your certificate of completion.
  2. Certificates of completion for all free courses. We have lots of teams that use our free courses for learning and professional development. If earning certificates of completion help with tracking and motivation, then membership is a really affordable tool to get better results for your team.
  3. Member access to premium courses. With membership you get access to a bunch of premium courses that you would normally have to pay a lot more to take. Sometimes they carry CEUs. We try to add a new course every month to keep it fresh. Like all of our premium courses, once you’re enrolled you have a full year to take the course.

Membership is intended to lower the barrier to learning so you can make professional development a regular habit.
Membership is also available to Teams. Team discounts are applied automatically and team memberships have all of the same benefits as the individual memberships.
