A Chance to Earn $1000 and Tell Your Story of the Impact of Education – HeatSpring’s Stay Curious Campaign

Brit Heller Brit Heller

We’re looking for individuals in the clean energy sector to share their personal experiences of how education has transformed their careers and impacted their communities.

HeatSpring’s new Stay Curious campaign recognizes the value of continuous learning in the clean energy transition by showcasing how education in the clean energy sector creates cascading impacts that influence lives, careers, and communities.

We want you to share your story and inspire others!

The Ripple Effect of Education

At HeatSpring, we believe that education is a catalyst for positive change:

🔥 Someone dedicates their time and energy to learn something new…

  • They get better at their job
  • Their team and organization grows
  • Their community thrives
  • The clean energy industry gets better and stronger
  • The world becomes better

This virtuous cycle is at the heart of our work here at HeatSpring. Now, we want to showcase your stories that illustrate this powerful transformative effect.

Your Story Matters

We want to hear your story – whether you’ve taken a free or paid course, everyone in our community is welcome to apply. Centering HeatSpring is not a requirement for this opportunity.

Selected participants will:

  • Work remotely with HeatSpring staff to self-record their stories and some b-roll footage using their smartphone following our technical guidance
  • Submit high resolution video files to HeatSpring
  • Receive $1,000 upon submission of agreed-upon content
  • Have their story featured on HeatSpring Magazine and HeatSpring social media channels

HeatSpring will:

  • Provide technical guidance for how to best capture video and audio using your smartphone
  • Pay $1000 once agreed upon videos are submitted
  • Take raw footage provided by selected participants and edit into 2-4 minute videos
  • Share your inspiring story with the HeatSpring community

Here is an example of a Stay Curious video from HeatSpring staffer, Brittany Heller. We’ll be creating something similar for all those selected to be featured.

How to Apply

To be considered for the “Stay Curious” campaign, complete this application, where you will briefly share:

  1. Your learning experience in clean energy
  2. How this knowledge catalyzed your career and your life
  3. The benefits it brought to your organization
  4. The positive impacts on your community

Additionally, you’ll need to submit a quick 30-second video shot from your phone stating your name and philosophy on education.

Applications will close on Friday, September 13, 2024. We will notify all applicants of their selection status by Monday, September 30, 2024.

Ready to Share Your Story?

If you’re excited about the opportunity to inspire others and highlight the transformative power of education in the clean energy sector, we encourage you to apply. Your story could be the spark that ignites someone else’s educational journey!

Apply here!

Stay curious, HeatSpring community, and let’s create a brighter, more sustainable future together!
