New Filters Make the Team Training Reports Faster to Use Brit Heller The Reports section in the Team Dashboard has always been where training leaders go to see enrollment, progress, and completion across their team. What’s new is how quickly you can get to the specific answer you need in the Progress report. Added filtering means training leaders no longer have to scroll through a full roster to find what matters, they can just ask the report directly. New filters in the Progress Report (click image to enlarge) Progress report: where does each person stand right now? The Progress Report is a full roster view. Every teammate is listed next to every course they’re enrolled in, along with enrollment date, last visit, status (not started, in progress, or completed), a progress bar, and completion date where applicable. The new filters make this useful at scale. Training leaders can now narrow the list by teammate, by course, by status, by course type (paid or free), and by date ranges for enrollment, last visit, or completion. Filter by a single course, for example, and the report instantly narrows to just the people enrolled in it and where each one stands. The filtered view can be emailed directly from the page. Activity Report (click image to enlarge) Activity report and Course report: still there, still useful The other two views in Reports round out the picture. The Activity Report shows each teammate’s last active date, assignments completed, courses with activity, completed courses, and new enrollments, viewable by time period. The Course Report rolls activity up by course instead of by person, showing enrolled, completed, completion percentage, in progress, and not started for each course in the catalog, viewable by course type. Both are useful for the questions the Progress Report doesn’t answer directly, like which courses are stalling out across the whole team, but the new filtering lives in the Progress Report. Course Report (click image to enlarge) Still built for exporting, not just viewing Every report still includes a download option, so training leaders can pull the data into Excel for further analysis or to share with leadership. That matters for anyone who needs to report on training compliance or ROI outside of the dashboard itself. Where to find it The Reports section lives under Track in the Team Dashboard sidebar. The new Progress report filters are live now for any training leader managing a HeatSpring team account. For teams juggling certifications, safety training, continuing education, and more across multiple people, the new filters make the Progress Report a place to find answers fast.
