We are excited to announce that HeatSpring instructor Sean White will be teaching two workshops at the American Solar Energy Society’s ASES SOLAR 20/20 conference this June.

Registration is now open for SOLAR 20/20, June 23-26, 2020 at George Washington University in Washington D.C., in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon.

Sean will be teaching two in person workshops at the conference, PV and the NEC and Solar Intensive PV, both of which will count for NABCEP credits. Conference attendees who enroll in the PV and the NEC Workshop or Solar Intensive PV workshop will receive a special $200 discount code for Sean’s online Solar PV Boot Camp + NABCEP PV Associate Exam Prep course on HeatSpring.

PV and the NEC Workshop Details

June 26, 2020 10:30am-2:30pm – ASES SOLAR 20/20 at George Washington University in Washington D.C. with solar PV expert Sean White.

This workshop will be jam-packed with NEC insight and interpretation. Sean White teaches PV courses around the world and has authored four technical PV books. Solar Photovoltaic Basics 2nd Ed., Solar PV Engineering and Installation 2nd Ed., Solar PV Technical Sales and PV and the NEC (2nd Ed. in production). Sean will fill you up with as much information as possible in the time given, while entertaining you. Sean will compare and contrast the 2017 NEC to the 2020 NEC, with special emphasis on the rapid shutdown and interconnection requirements of the Code.

The sun is on the cover of the 2020 NEC and there are new ways that we can calculate currents.

This course will count for NABCEP continuing education requirements in every category and will also count for prerequisites for NABCEP Certification.

This course will count towards NABCEP CE and Prerequisite Credits and will include a $200 discount for Sean’s advanced online PV classes at HeatSpring.

Solar PV Intensive Workshop Details

June 26, 3:00-7:00pm – ASES SOLAR 20/20 at George Washington University in Washington D.C. with solar PV expert Sean White.

This Solar PV Intensive Workshop will count for NABCEP Associate Exam Credit and will be fast paced and cover a lot of information. Students are recommended to plan on being alert, taking good notes, read the instructors books and study the material intensively for the week following the course. For maximum learning, students can read the instructor’s book Solar Photovoltaic Basics 2nd Ed. before the course.

This course will include a $200 discount for Sean’s NABCEP Associate PV Boot Camp on HeatSpring which will qualify them for the NABCEP Associate Exam.
