I got this email from a HeatSpring reader last week and I had to share it. First, because it made me feel super special and and affirmed a thought I always had about myself and HeatSpring. Namely that I’m the man and HeatSpring is helping companies make money in renewable energy. But seriously, it was just good to hear that renewable energy is becoming a stable enough industry that young entrepreneurs feel confient to start their careers in the industry. This is great news.

Here’s the letter:
Hello Chris,I have spent some time reading your posts and I must say they are very refreshing. I have been in the industry here in Montana for the past three years and have just recently parted ways with my employer to start my own company. Many of the reasons I chose to make this move are precisely what you touch on and as I have been writing my business plan I have found myself trying to articulate these points. While I was fortunate to work with such technical minded people and absorb all of the information they had to offer I began to feel frustrated with the way we were dealing with customers, marketing and generally representing the industry. So I just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for expressing these sentiments as reading them has given me a shot of confidence in my own thoughts. Side note, I grew up in Wellesley and played my high school hockey games at the Babson rink. Keep up the good work,
